JDRF: Helping Create a World Without Type 1 Diabetes

In March 2013, Tom Brobson, JDRF National Director of Research Investment Opportunities, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 44, talked to FOX 2 Detroit's Health Works Reporter Deena Centofanti about research advancements in the artificial pancreas, a system comprised of a sophisticated smartphone that takes data from a continuous glucose sensor and helps automate delivery from an insulin pump.
