Volunteer to Raise Funds for Research

Hosting a fundraiser or fundraising event can be one of the most rewarding and successful ways to support JDRF and accelerate the pace of research for a cure. Some fundraising event ideas include golf outings, backyard barbecues, spare change collections, concerts, bake sales or chili cook-offs. You certainly are not limited to these suggestions - so the possibilities are truly endless!

Each year thousands of dollars are raised by volunteers like you who have taken the time to organize fundraising events and donate the proceeds to fund type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

For more information on how to host your own fundraiser - or as JDRF calls them, Third Party Events - contact Randall Lawrence, JDRF Development Coordinator, today at rlawrence@jdrf.org or (248) 936-1285.
